Orthodontics at Yonsei Allday is led by Dr. Jung Yeol. Treatment is planned on an iTero intraoral scan and, when needed, a CT scan, and you see the planned tooth movement on screen before deciding. Both Invisalign clear aligners and fixed braces (metal, ceramic, self-ligating, lingual, partial) are available.
How treatment proceeds
Consultation and scan, digital plan reviewed together, aligner delivery with attachments or bracket bonding, then check-ups. Retainers (Vivera for aligner patients) and a retention schedule are part of the plan. Children and teenagers can be assessed for growth-stage orthodontics.
Questions
Who treats orthodontic patients?
All orthodontic treatment is provided by Dr. Jung Yeol at the 2nd-floor orthodontic centre. Evening appointments are available on Mondays and Wednesdays until 21:00 and on Saturdays until 14:00.
Invisalign or fixed braces?
Clear aligners are removable and nearly invisible but need 20–22 hours of wear a day. Fixed braces work regardless of compliance and suit larger tooth movements. We compare both on your scan during the consultation.
How often do I need to come?
Aligner check-ups are usually every 6–10 weeks and fixed-brace adjustments every 4–6 weeks. For patients living far away we plan longer intervals where the treatment allows.
What does it cost?
Invisalign KRW 3,500,000–6,540,000 depending on the plan, including genuine Align Technology aligners and Vivera retainers. Metal braces KRW 4,200,000, ceramic KRW 4,500,000, self-ligating (Clippy-C) KRW 4,800,000, partial orthodontics (6 front teeth) KRW 1,500,000 per arch (basis 2026-09-23).
